Joko Anwar has said that he has plans for another sequel if Pengabdi Setan 2: Communion is a success with moviegoers.
Anwar’s first instalment of Satan’s Slave, which was released in 2017, was both a critical and box office success. Films from China, Japan and South Korea have previously adopted the format, making Pengabdi Setan 2: Communion the first film from Southeast Asia to be presented in IMAX.
