RTM Sabah has achieved much the past 70 years | Daily Express ... (Daily Express)

The Sabah Malaysian Broadcasting Department (RTM Sabah) has made great strides of progress since its inception 70 years ago.

As of June 2022, RTM Sabah has conducted 37 programmes which involved broadcasting stations in Tawau, Sandakan Keningau. The programmes aim to not only bring Sabahans closer to RTM but also foster unity among the community in line with the Malaysian Family concept. - Source: NabaluNews.These divisions are assisted by the Management Services Branch as well as the Marketing, Promotion and Advertising Regulatory Unit. The Programmes Division, which includes the Radio Section, TV Section, Current Affairs News Section as well as Entertainment and Music Section, are the pillars of the department’s strength. As of June 20, RTM Sabah has 465 staff encompassing various posts, including those in the Tawau, Sandakan and Keningau broadcast stations.

Accommodation at the IPPTAR Hostel is also provided to those living outside Kuala Lumpur should classes be held physically. The institute charges only an RM30 fee for participants under KKoM wishing to take up any of the courses provided. At the broadcasting institution, various trainings are provided to improve the performance, skills and credibility of RTM employees.
