MELAKA: The founder of the iconic Jonker Walk night market and Malaysia's "father of bodybuilding" passed away on early Monday morning (Aug 15).

Tian Loo said his father had been receiving treatment for a weak heart at a hospital here but was discharged on Sunday (Aug 14) afternoon. His son, Datuk Gan Tian Loo confirmed that his father has passed away at 1.30am on Monday (Aug 15). KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 15): The country's sports arena woke up to the news of the death of national bodybuilding figure, Datuk Gan Boon Leong, this morning.
