Chelsea look to have finally got their man after agreeing a £70 million transfer for Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana.

When Chelsea first registered their interest in Fofana, Rodgers publicly stated the centre-back was not for sale. Leicester will reportedly receive £70 million, along with add-on's that likely involve appearances for the club, as well as club and personal honours. It comes after weeks of talks between the two sides, with the 21-year-old making his intentions clear to Leicester that he'd like to join Chelsea.

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Wesley Fofana will leave Leicester City and join Chelsea this summer transfer window.

This is a big move for the Blues, especially considering that Leicester were apparently holding out for £85million. The reported fee that Chelsea will pay for the Frenchman is £75million, with add-ons included. Last night, it was heavily reported that the Blues were on the 'verge' of agreeing a deal with Leicester for his signature. The Foxes had rejected three bids and Fofana thought the last two were more than reasonable. After multiple rejected bids and the player trying to force a move, it looks like Wesley Fofana is set to join Chelsea.

Despite playing almost an hour with ten men, Chelsea were able to record a 2-1 victory over Leicester City with Raheem Sterling scoring twice.
