Batman: Arkham's Most Underrated Game Deserved Better (Screen Rant)

Batman: Arkham Origins may be flawed, but the 2013 superhero title deserves to be remembered for its personal prequel story and intense boss fights.

WB Games Montreal has moved on to Gotham Knights, but Batman: Arkham Origins should always be remembered as the developer's first Caped Crusader adventure. 2016's Batman: Return to Arkham collection remastered Arkham Asylum and Arkham City for modern hardware, but Arkham Origins was sadly left out of this package. Many fans have warmed up to Batman: Arkham Origins over the years, but the prequel has still been largely ignored by Warner Bros. Despite its flaws, Batman: Arkham Origins has enough merit to stand alongside Rocksteady's trilogy of Arkham titles. Batman: Arkham Origins was also widely criticized for its failure to innovate, with gameplay being largely identical to Arkham City. Rocksteady continued and concluded the epic superhero story with 2011's Arkham City and 2015's Arkham Knight, while a prequel game titled Arkham Origins was released in 2013.

DC bet big on the relaunch of the Batman franchise from director Matt Reeves and that bet has paid off tenfold. With the help of Robert Pattinson, whose take on ...

Would you like to see Poison Ivy join the DC Extended Universe in The Batman franchise? He has a long list of characters to choose from, but we’d love to see Poison Ivy make her return to the silver screen — and it seems Warner Bros. While we know a sequel to The Batman is in the works, no casting announcements have been made for the film thus far. [1997’s Batman and Robin](https://bamsmackpow.com/2019/09/26/3-reasons-to-watch-batman-and-robin/) have we seen Poison Ivy on the big screen as part of a live-action DC feature film and it’s time for that to change. Dormer was absolutely phenomenal in the role of Margaery Tyrell and there is no denying she would deliver an equally flawless performance as Ivy if given the chance. There are a lot of options for Reeves to choose from, and there’s at least one other major villain fans are hoping to see in the sequel: Poison Ivy.
