England openers Alex Hales and Phill Salt have started off on a shaky note. Haris Rauf comes to the attack after Hasnain and Nawaz fail to pick early wickets in the powerplay. He loves the game and his brilliance has brought Pakistan back into the contest. Both of them cleaned up and there is no end to Dahani's excitement and celebration. England find it hard to find boundaries now as Pakistan cut the run-scoring. Nawaz strikes and dismisses Duckett for 43. Moeen Ali joins Brooks in the middle now ad England look for a big finish. Brilliant from Moeen Ali, he smashed Usman Qadir for two back-to-back sixes. Two left-handed batters now in the middle. Left-handed Sam Curran joins Moeen Ali in the middle. Debutant pacer Luke Wood and a returning Alex Hales starred in Englandโ€™s comfortable six-wicket win against Pakistan in the first T20I of seven-match series in Karachi on Tuesday. A big ask and these two need to attack from the word go but instead they are going slow, unable to find gaps.

Pakistan vs England: Babar Azam century in stunning opening stand ... (Sky Sports)

A stunning unbeaten opening partnership between Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan saw Pakistan pull off a remarkable run-chase to beat England by 10 wickets ...

There is very little time for Pakistan to celebrate, with less than 24 hours until the sides meet again on Friday, once more at Karachi's National Stadium. The hosts had been 87-1 at the same stage in Tuesday's opener, before going on to make just 158 from their 20 overs. They played good cricket shots and they got a massive partnership, but that can happen. I went for 20 and that gave them the belief. England bowler Adil Rashid: "I thought we did tremendously well to get 199. The Yorkshire batter struck three sixes, including a delightful drive over extra cover, on his way to making 31 from 19 balls. "But the momentum changed when I bowled my over. A seventh century stand between the pair also saw them extend their record for the most between any two batters in T20Is. "I thought it would do a little bit more second innings. I thought they played tremendously well. Once more one brought two for Pakistan as Duckett was bowled by Mohammad Nawaz in the following over, leaving England with two new batters at the crease in Harry Brook and Moeen with the score at 101-4 in the 13th over. The decision at the toss initially appeared to be a good one as Alex Hales, who made a half-century on Tuesday in his return to international cricket after a three-year exile, once more helped get England off to a fast start.
