Apparently, the authority thought the singer-actress was entering Europe to do “illegal things”.

We were really super unlucky,” she was reported saying. However, Chung and a friend she was travelling with, were detained by the airport authority in Germany as they suspected the two pretty women were entering Belgium to do “illegal things”. Hong Kong star Gillian Chung revealed recently that she was once detained at an airport in Germany, and the reason given was that she was “young and pretty” and thus, (presumably) was up to no good.
