It seems that Microsoft intends to use Office to refer to the previous office tools. Users will continue to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as part of Microsoft 365. On Windows, the web and mobile, users can use it to open new documents. Microsoft claims that the Office.com website, Office mobile applications and the Office Hub program for Windows will all be renamed. The new application will be the new center for accessing Microsoft’s corporate services and applications. Microsoft says in the Q&A that users will continue to have access to regular features.
