In her email to Yeon-Doon, she mentions that he is always with his best friend, Poong Woon-Ho. Yeon-Doo tells Bo-Ra about her crush on a boy who came to her Mom’s store. However, she gets caught at school and gets into trouble. When she overhears Hyun-Jin’s intention to join the broadcasting club, she applies as well.

Overall this film is a nice watch, although with a sweet start it ends sour and had me almost in tears. What is lovely is a film taking high-school love seriously, and showing the complexities teen relationships can have. We meet Bo-ra in 2019 as an adult, and when a mysterious tape brings back her memories from high school and her first love, we’re taken back to 1999, when Bo-ra is a 17-year-old high school student.
