The San Siro is obviously one of the best known stadiums around the world, and has obviously had a long history in football. The game started really well for the rossonero as in the 9th minute Miguel Veloso scored an own goal, but it didn't take long for Hellas Verona to score a goal, as ten minutes later Koray Gunter scored the second goal of the match. Monza obviously have a big disadvantage as their team doesn't have better players as AC Milan's team, but Monza are fighters.

Milan vs Monza Player Ratings: Brahim Leads the Rossoneri to Victory (The Cult of Calcio)

Brahim Diaz, Divock Origi and Rafael Leao all scored as the Rossoneri picked up an easy 4-1 win at the San Siro against Monza.

After replacing Barberis at halftime, the Juventus loanee scored a candidate for goal of the year. After Theo won the ball in the attacking third and found Leao in the box, he easily converted to put Milan up 4-1. Despite his high work rate throughout the match, Monza really needed a better showing from Mota. After a strong start to the match, Caprari’s form dropped off significantly. In the second half, Origi finally netted his first goal for Milan, firing a powerful shot into the upper corner. Brahim picked up a brilliant first-half brace, though he left the match with an apparent injury after 53 minutes. He was quite impressive with his technical skills and made a fantastic move around Andrea Carboni to create Milan’s third goal. He was less convincing from more advanced positions, but the midfielder certainly made a case for more playing time. On Milan’s fourth goal of the match, he easily stole the ball from Valentin Antov before finding Rafael Leao in the box to confirm the result. The defender seemed to grow into his role as the match progressed. Brahim Diaz and the Milan offense were sublime as the Rossoneri picked up a 4-1 win against Monza. The visitors unwisely deployed a fairly aggressive 3-4-2-1, and Milan had no problems picking apart their unorganized backline.

Player Ratings: AC Milan 4-1 Monza – Diaz show and Origi impresses (SempreMilan)

Bennacer (7): He ran the show out there tonight despite having just managed to shake off a fever. It was a nice assist for Diaz and the goal was even nicer, certainly showing why Milan signed him this evening. It was unselfish of him to pass, but it was absolutely the right call. He beat his man several times and looked a lot more confident. He also helped set up the first goal with a nice pass to Diaz, showing some passing ability. Several players did well, especially a couple, and down below are the player ratings for the Rossoneri.
