The reveal of Victoria's glowing eyes suggests that either Art the Clown is able to retain control over his victims — The Little Pale Girl was Art's first — or alternatively, the demonic presence within The Little Pale Girl has transferred to Victoria in order to ensure Art's return. Terrifier 2 provided several further avenues of exploration, mainly unraveling the mystery surrounding Sienna and Jonathan's father, his connection to Art, and the full backstory of The Little Pale Girl. Following Art's apparent death, beheaded by the resurrected Sienna at the end of Terrifier 2, The Little Pale Girl who has served as Art's ghoulish sidekick — and seems to embody the demonic evil presence responsible for Art's immortality — comes to retrieve his decapitated head. Victoria's eyes begin to glow yellow before revealing the words "Art + Vicky" on the wall surrounded by a bloody heart. By then, buzz began to build and “Terrifier 2” generated $1.9 million in its third frame while expanding to 755 locations. At that point, “Terrifier 2” had grossed $2.29 million in total. But so far, “Terrifier 2,” which follows a horrifying killer called Art the Clown, has managed to do the opposite, all while punching up against major studio horror films like “Halloween Ends,” “Smile” and “Barbarian.” “Almost every showtime is near capacity,” Canfield said. “That doesn’t happen when you lose locations.” Even mainstays like “Avatar” and “Top Gun: Maverick” experienced a dip after debuting on the big screen. With that challenge in mind, the movie was initially intended to screen for only three nights. “This is where word-of-mouth becomes more important than any paid advertisement,” says Jeff Bock, an analyst with Exhibitor Relations. And it’s achieved those returns without a major movie star on the marquee and hardly any promotion.
