“Based on the confidentiality of the submissions, we are unable to inform the areas of failure. But that does not mean Melaka and Sarawak will not play football again. MFL’s FIB decided not to award the two teams a national licence for the 2023 revamped Super League season. “It is not a nice feeling to inform the press about this decision. “Now, we will have 16 teams competing in the league. But, unfortunately, the appeals made by Melaka and Sarawak have been rejected, and they do not have the licence to compete in next season’s Super League.
