In his films, Kamal Haasan promised to showcase his brand of politics. Kamal Haasan will further act in Malayalam director Mahesh Narayanan's upcoming film, which he wrote the script for. The director touts it as an “important” one that will “deal with a social issue” and be set in Tamil Nadu's Madurai district. The third film, which is set for Pongal release next year, will follow the success of the first two. When H Vinoth met Kamal Haasan for a script narration a few months ago, it was reported that the two were working together. According to sources, it has political undertones, which prompted the actor to nod in agreement.

Kamal’s home banner will be producing this flick on a big note. The latest buzz is that Ajith’s director, H.Vinoth, will soon make a film with the universal hero, and few reports say that the official announcement is not far away and can be expected very soon. Vinoth is currently working on this third straight film with Ajith titled Thunivu, which is set for the Pongal 2023 release. Kamal Haasan has been very much pleased with the overwhelming response for Vikram. After this movie gets wrapped, Vinoth will be starting the film with Kamal by the start of next year, as per the industry circles. After this outstanding success, Kamal announced a few movies with other actors, which he will be producing under his banner Raaj Kamal Films International.
