Veteran Indian actress Veena Kapoor was allegedly brutally murdered by her son Sachin Kapoor over a property dispute.

As per Economic Times, police also said that Veena Kapoor’s elder son lives in the US. A police complaint was filed when the security supervisor of Kalpataru Society in Mumbai reported that the 74-year-old actress had gone missing. He then threw her dead body into a river in the Raigad district.

Actress Veena Kapoor was allegedly murdered by her son earlier this month, and he spilled the gory details of the same to the police.

Sachin is currently in police custody and has confessed to the crime of murdering his mother. 43-year-old Sachin then packed her body in a cardboard box and drove over 90 kms to dispose of it. The news of the murder was brought to the public light by Kapoor’s colleague Nilu Kohli.

Sachin and Mandal were arrested under sections 302, 201, and 34 of the IPC and an FIR (1210/2022 ) was registered on December 7. As such the police checked the CCTV footage and found that Sachin and his servant Lalukumar Mandal (25), were near 203, Mauli Building No Road No 13 in the Juhu area.
