Half of the Income Made from Google Pixel 7 Pro Goes to Samsung (Gizchina.com)

Pixel smartphones are gradually gaining a lot of popularities each year. As business keeps growing, so does the income but that is not entirely so with Google.

The screen alone takes about 20% of the production cost of the Google Pixel 7 Pro. The 6.7-inch AMOLED display of the Google Pixel 7 Pro is the most expensive component in the phone. According to data from Counterpoint, the total cost involved in producing the Google Pixel 7 Pro is $413. At the end of it all, just a small fraction goes to Google as profit. Google makes just 7% of the components with Micron contributing 5% of components. Of course the company will gain more profits from sales of the Pixel Smartphones but Samsung takes greater part of the Income.

It costs Google $413 USD to produce a Pixel 7 Pro: report (MobileSyrup)

A new report breaks down the cost of producing a mmWave Pixel 7 Pro and details which manufacturers make which parts.

Samsung and Micron jointly provide the Pixel 7 Pro’s RAM. Samsung makes the QHD+ AMOLED display used in the Pixel 7 Pro. Moreover, Google offers Pixel 7 and 7 Pro models, a set with Sub-6 5G and a set with both Sub-6 and mmWave 5G. Presumably, the mmWave models cost more to make, so the $413 figure likely represents the upper end of production costs for Google’s phones. However, it’s worth keeping in mind that the $413 figure only covers the production cost, leaving out things like marketing, research and development, and other production-related fees. It costs around $413 USD (about $553.85 CAD) to manufacture and uses about 50 percent of Samsung-made components.

Analysis by Counterpoint Research suggests that the Pixel 7 Pro is a much cheaper device to produce than its rivals.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra vs. Google Pixel 7 Pro: Which Is Better? (MakeUseOf)

The Galaxy S23 Ultra and Pixel 7 Pro are two of the biggest and most powerful Android phones. So how do they compare and which is right for you?

The Galaxy S23 Ultra is indeed a better flagship than the Pixel 7 Pro in most areas. There's absolutely no competition between the Galaxy S23 Ultra and the Pixel 7 Pro when it comes to battery life; the former is the obvious winner even though both devices have the same 5000mAh total capacity. The Galaxy S23 Ultra is slightly taller, wider, and heavier than the Pixel 7 Pro but maintains the same thickness. The S23 Ultra takes more shareable landscape shots and has cleaner video quality, better stabilization, and a 10X optical zoom lens. The device also comes with 256GB as the base storage and goes all the way up to 1TB. If that's the goal, the Pixel is the clear winner. The Galaxy S23 Ultra comes with a superior ultrasonic fingerprint sensor whereas the Pixel 7 Pro retains an optical one that isn't as reliable. However, what the Pixel lacks in performance, it makes up for in intelligence. The Pixel 7 Pro comes in three colors: Obsidian, Snow, and Hazel. [best features of the S23 Ultra](https://www.makeuseof.com/samsung-galaxy-s23-ultra-best-features/) is its new 200MP lens. If you're looking to buy an Android flagship in 2023, the two best candidates right now are the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and the Google Pixel 7 Pro. Regardless, let's compare the two devices side-by-side and see which offers the better deal.

Samsung Galaxy S23+ vs. Google Pixel 7 Pro: Is performance ... (Android Police)

Is a powerful new chip enough to unseat Google as king of the Android hill?

The dimensions of the Galaxy S23+ and the Pixel 7 Pro are close enough to be tied for size, although the Pixel is a bit thicker thanks to the camera bar. More significantly, the Pixel 7 Pro has a superior camera system, which we think will matter more to most folks. It sports a minimalist yet attractive design, and you get a pure Android 13 experience with more software updates for years to come. Although the Pixel 7 Pro has a 5,000mAh battery inside, it doesn't seem to make the best use of it. If raw performance in an affordable package is important to you, there's little doubt the Galaxy S23+ can deliver that in spades, thanks to its custom Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip that's engineered to deliver peak performance for the most demanding apps and games. While the Pixel 7 Pro may not have ideal battery life, the Galaxy S23+ could fall even shorter. The Pixel 7 Pro offers more than enough performance for everyday use, and it comes standard with 12GB RAM across the board. Google's Pixel 7 Pro improves on that by going slightly larger at 6.7 inches but also taking the resolution up to QHD+, which works out to 3120x1440. However, is that enough to unseat [Google's Pixel 7 Pro](https://www.androidpolice.com/google-pixel-7-pro-review/) from its top place among the [best Android phones](https://www.androidpolice.com/best-android-phones/)? The result is a cleaner look that's closer to the motif of the S23 Ultra. The Pixel 7 Pro retails for $900 for the 128GB model. It sports a minimalist yet attractive design, and you get a pure Android 13 experience with more software updates for years to come.Pros

Galaxy S23 Ultra vs iPhone 14 Pro Max vs Pixel 7 Pro Camera ... (PhoneArena)

In this camera comparison, we go over the main camera, the ultra-wide one and the one area where the Galaxy can't be beat - the telephoto cameras! Yes, the S23 ...

In this first picture, we prefer the brighter exposure and more accurate white balance on the iPhone. At 10X zoom, the Galaxy should take the lead, but we see that on this cloudy day, its slower aperture doesn't allow enough light in and the Pixel actually outdoes it. So which one is the camera phone so far in 2023? In this first shot, you can notice both the Galaxy and the iPhone are affected by the nearby light and produce a warmer photo, while the Pixel captures a more accurate white balance. The iPhone goes for a darker and noisier shot, with quite a bit of vignetting, so we'd take the Pixel which looks most natural, even if not as punchy as the Galaxy. All three are in the same league, but we think the Galaxy has the upper hand right now. With clean detail, the Galaxy has the best picture here. Here is a crop from a different picture to illustrate the huge improvements in detail with this new sensor. One issue we noticed with the Galaxy S23 Ultra is that in cloudy weather practically all of the photos we captured had a blue tint to them. The Galaxy goes for warmer and more saturated colors than the other two and it's the least realistic of the three. The Galaxy, however, also amps up sharpness and while it is not as extreme as on the iPhone, you will notice halos around tree branches and other small contrasting objects in photos. Yes, the S23 Ultra still comes with two telephoto cameras, a 3X shooter and the familiar 10X zoom one, so it has that extra zoom reach that other phones don't.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra vs. Google Pixel 7 Pro: Which flagship ... (Tom's Guide)

This Galaxy S23 Ultra vs. Pixel 7 Pro face-off will reveal which flagship Android phone is best. As in previous years, it's all about the cameras.

In the end, the Galaxy S23 Ultra holds the advantage in this regard. It fell behind the S23 Ultra in display and performance, too. Then again, the Galaxy S23 Ultra brings the full power of the S Pen to bear against the Pixel 7 Pro. Regardless, the Galaxy S23 Ultra wins the overall battery section hands-down. The Korean phone maker offers four years of Android updates for the Galaxy S23 Ultra with five years of security patches. This Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra vs. Other than some of the characteristic Samsung over-saturation, the Galaxy S23 Ultra wins with a brighter and more inviting photo. The Galaxy S23 Ultra is almost vibrant in its Vivid mode versus the Pixel 7 Pro’s Adaptive color setting. In this scene of some liquor bottles, we noticed that the Galaxy S23 Ultra had too much of a warm, yellowish tinge in its final image. In the Natural color settings, the Galaxy S23 Ultra managed 111% and 79%, respectively. Yet, the Galaxy S23 Ultra leaps ahead of the Pixel 7 Pro in brightness. The Galaxy S23 Ultra is a game-changer with its 200MP main camera that gives photographers a lot more flexibility.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Review: The King of Extra (CNET)

The Galaxy S23 Ultra builds on Samsung's camera strengths. But Galaxy S22 Ultra owners don't need to upgrade yet.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra is a lot, but in a good way. That's 8K at 30fps for the Galaxy S23 Ultra, 8K at 24fps for the Galaxy S22 Ultra and 4K at 60fps for the iPhone 14 Pro and Google Pixel 7 Pro. Like the S22 Ultra, the S23 Ultra can zoom optically up to 10x, while the iPhone 14 Pro is at 3x and the Pixel 7 Pro is at 5x. The Galaxy S23 Ultra looks almost identical to the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The Galaxy S23 Ultra was able to focus more sharply than both the Pixel 7 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro. Colors in landscape photos taken on the Galaxy S23 Ultra can look brighter and exaggerated compared to those from the iPhone 14 Pro and Pixel 7 Pro. Take a look at how that photo of the park from earlier compares to similar photos taken on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pixel 7 Pro, and you'll notice the shades of green look more natural. When snapping a photo of my husband in front of a window at a bakery, both the S23 Ultra and S22 Ultra's images looked washed out and overexposed, although the S23 Ultra's did have more color than the S22 Ultra's. The iPhone 14 Pro's was the best of the bunch in this case, but the Pixel 7 Pro's was impressive, too. That high price is hard to ignore, and photos taken on the Galaxy S23 Ultra don't always look as natural as those captured on the iPhone 14 Pro or Pixel 7 Pro. In the pictures below, my husband preferred the Galaxy S23 Ultra's photo over the more natural-looking image from the Pixel 7 Pro because it made his beard and eyes look more vibrant. Although you might not notice it in the smaller embedded version below, the leaves in the S23 Ultra's photo have a bit more separation and crispness compared to the S22 Ultra's, and there's also better contrast in the tree bark.
