Overspeeding Tata Safari Tears Down Truck At 130 km/h (Car Blog India)

In a severe accident, an overspeeding Tata Safari crashed into a truck at 130 km/h. Fortunately, all 3 passengers came out alive.

All the manufacturers might have to send the new cars for crash tests to get a safety star rating. Both Tata Safari and Tata Harrier are based on the same Omega-Arc platform and are powered by the same engine options. Apparently, part Multijet engine in the Tata Harrier and the Safari can intrude into the cabin of the RHD cars and injure the driver. The Indian government also plans to make crash safety tests mandatory in the future. It is to be noted that the above-mentioned incident could have easily had serious outcomes. Unlike previous accidents of Tata Safari and the Harrier, the door frames were breached. You can even see people struggling to open the door to get the passengers out. The company has never sent the Harrier and the Safari to get a safety rating. It continues to be one of the best-selling vehicles in the country. Due to heavy impact, the frame of the vehicle was mangled. The impact was so strong that the rear axle of the trailer came off the body. The good build quality of the SUV has emerged in most cases.
