Nearly a year after its release, the song is still going strong with the audiences. In past interviews, the director has confessed that people called him "crazy" for shooting in a country on the verge of war. Ram Charan and NTR Jr then turn to take on each other and a dance competition between the two heroes follows. Since the film's release last year, fans have been trying to replicate the intricate foot swivels and catchy dance moves. Rakshit said he made 30 versions of the signature step in which NTR Jr and Ram Charan dance with their arms around each other. It was the time for Asian stars to shine the brightest at the 95th Academy Awards or Oscars 2023, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on 12 March.

Paul Rogers won the award for Best Film Editing. He is also the first Asian male actor to win the best supporting actor award at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Yeoh won the Golden Globe award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy as well.
