Bank Indonesia will provide integrated cash services for the people in cooperation with the Indonesian banking industry.
For the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok and Bekasi region, as many as 599 service points will be provided by 55 banks. Marlison added that the banking industry has committed to open 5,066 service points across Indonesian region, which is 8 percent higher compared to last year. Marlison added that Bank Indonesia will also start to implement Bank Indonesia wholesale services through the banking industry in cooperation with Perbarindo (Association of Indonesian Rural Banks) and Aprindo (Association of Indonesian Retail Businesses).
