[Klay Thompson](http://www.espn.com/nba/player/_/id/6475/klay-thompson)'s five 3-pointers gave him 273, moving him closer to his career high in 3s for a season of 276 set in 2015-16. [Naz Reid](http://www.espn.com/nba/player/_/id/4396971/naz-reid) hit a baseline 3-pointer with 6:12 remaining, followed by a layup. The Warriors have won 13 of 15 overall in San Francisco. ... The Warriors tied the season series 2-all. He played 15 1/2 minutes in his first game since the Warriors reacquired him at the trade deadline from Portland after he helped Golden State to a championship last season as a top defender. [Minnesota Timberwolves](http://www.espn.com/nba/team/_/name/min/minnesota-timberwolves) coach Chris Finch has plenty of confidence in his new-look team’s ability to defend at every position, all over the court, even with the ball in Stephen Curry’s hands and the game on the line. The Kings, coached by former Golden State top assistant Mike Brown, will try to end the longest playoff drought in NBA history Monday night at home against Minnesota. Green went down hard taking a charge from the 7-foot-1 Gobert earlier in the quarter. “It was a nice welcome home.” Poole, who had a game-high 27 points, then secured a rebound on the other end.

Warriors made some bad decisions on offense against the ... (Golden State of Mind)

While the motion offense is their bread and butter, having one of the best pick-and-roll ballhandlers in the league in Steph Curry allows them to have the ...

All the Warriors had to do in this situation was to hold onto the ball, dribble it out, and burn as much clock as possible. Not to sound like a broken record, but the Warriors have lost several games due to turning the ball over too darn much. These are mistakes a team can’t afford with the playoffs looming and playoff positioning playing a crucial role. That goes for turnover percentage, as well — their 15.7 TOV% is worse than any other team in the league save for the Rockets’ 16.5 TOV%. The defense must then respond in one of two ways: either they give up the easy switch and therefore, the mismatch; or they scheme up a coverage quirk to prevent the potential mismatch. All things considered, Towns does a good job on Curry — but I felt like Curry could’ve done more to break Towns down. That’s a subtle example, but in many ways it spoke the loudest. But for some reason — bad decision making, bad process, or settling due to other factors (e.g., fatigue) — the Warriors just settled too much for my liking. The Warriors run two ballscreens (“Dive Roll”) to get Karl-Anthony Towns switched onto Curry. Such windows gave the Warriors chances to pick apart the small cracks and bust them wide open. But instead of Curry attacking Towns in isolation, he passes to Jordan Poole, who doesn’t generate anything against Taurean Prince. The Warriors have always done a great job mixing up their offense and giving opponents different looks.

NBA Twitter reacts to Warriors' late collapse in costly loss to ... (Warriors Wire)

After the Warriors' tough loss to the Timberwolves, NBA Twitter chimed in with different reactions on Sunday night.

Record drops to 39-37, back in play-in bracket danger. Standings ramifications of that late-game loss: Warriors would've been 2.5 games up on the Timberwolves and clinched head-to-head tiebreaker. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying about the game on Sunday. A Jaden McDaniels free throw and a missed shot from Steph Curry at the buzzer locked the game up for the Timberwolves, 99-96. Following the turnover from Green, Karl Anthony-Towns immediately drilled his second consecutive 3-pointer to stun the Warriors and take a two-point lead with under 10 seconds remaining. 6 seed in the wild west.
