However, searches on various search engines show that the usual link to the Immigration Department’s website bears the wording “Hacked By CaptainSmok3r”. This has led to speculation among social media users that the website has been hacked. Checks on the department's official link - imi.gov.my - also found that users were unable to access the website despite clicking the link.
