But suddenly, out of the blue, a friend's family extended their warm embrace, inviting me to join their Thanksgiving feast. It turned out I was the guest they didn’t know they needed, and that made it all the more special.

Gathering around a bountiful table filled with turkey, stuffing, and pies, I marvelled at the laughter and joy around me. From sharing stories of past Thanksgivings to tossing around jokes about turkey mishaps, each moment was infused with warmth and love. It reminded me that sometimes, the most unexpected gatherings yield the richest experiences, as friendships are forged and memories are created over the shared bounty of food and gratitude.
